How Can AI Help with ESG Reporting, from Data Collection to Final Review?
When preparing an annual ESG sustainability report, the most time-consuming task is often collecting all the data, rather than writing. Data collection forms go to HR, finance, legal and public relations, then to individual factories and operating sites. Once returned, versions are compared manually, content is pasted into the report and disclosure indicators are checked one by one. This process repeats every year, leaving almost no trace of how the work was done.
Sustaihub is holding two sessions in September 2026 of its ESG × AI Webinar, featuring a 40-minute live system demonstration by CEO Lucas Lee showing how the Syber Sustainability Management System and its AI capabilities turn this process into a workflow with aligned indicators, visible progress and traceable reviews, followed by 20 minutes of Q&A.

Why We Are Holding This Webinar
The webinar addresses four frequently asked questions, demonstrating each solution directly in the system rather than relying on abstract diagrams.
| Common Practical Challenges | |
|---|---|
| 01 | How can data collection forms across departments and sites be managed centrally with standardised templates, so the data returned remains consistent? |
| 02 | How can disclosure indicators from frameworks such as GRI Standards, IFRS S1/S2, SASB Standards, TCFD recommendations and RBA be automatically mapped to report chapters? |
| 03 | How can teams monitor overall reporting progress in real time and automatically generate suggestions for the data still missing from each chapter? |
| 04 | How can internal controls over sustainability information be implemented so review workflows, version records and the people making changes can all be tracked? |
Agenda: 40-Minute Live Demonstration + 20-Minute Q&A
| Time | Content |
|---|---|
| 00–08 min | Where Traditional ESG Data Collection Breaks Down Starting with Excel data collection forms, we examine three pain points—repeated form distribution, diverging versions and untraceable data—and explain the system's three main components: frameworks and indicators, data collection forms and sustainability reports. |
| 08–18 min | Data Collection Forms: One Template Across the Company, with Automatic Consolidation Live Demonstration Create a standardised data collection questionnaire template and send it to each operating site. Responses use consistent data formats, and the system automatically consolidates them into a master table linked to report chapters. See how AI assists with questionnaire data and organises narrative responses into tables. |
| 18–30 min | Frameworks, Indicators and ESG Evaluation: AI Checks Report Content Requirement by Requirement Live Demonstration Built-in frameworks include GRI Standards, IFRS S1/S2, SASB Standards, TCFD recommendations and RBA, with customisation supported. The dashboard lists all indicators and shows whether they have been mapped to chapters. See AI compare ESG Evaluation question sets with report content, explaining whether each requirement is met, partially met or not mentioned. Also see SustainAI search more than 11,000 ESG reports by keyword. |
| 30–40 min | Internal Controls and Collaboration: Co-Editing, Version Records, Reviews and Permissions Live Demonstration Collaborative editing and comment discussions; marked changes with timestamps and user records; one-click restoration; assigned reviewers and review forms; chapter locking after approval; permission settings and report exports. We also demonstrate AI-generated progress summaries and AI checks of draft quality. |
| 40–60 min | Q&A A full 20 minutes is reserved for questions. Questions submitted in the registration form will receive priority. You can ask about implementation timelines, pricing, data security and how to drive internal adoption. |
Who Should Attend?
| Audience | Why It Is Relevant |
|---|---|
| Sustainability / ESG / CSR Teams | Preparing or about to begin a report, seeking to reduce data collection and writing time and understand how indicators map across multiple frameworks. |
| Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit and Corporate Governance Teams | Need an internal control trail for sustainability information: who changed what, when, who approved it and whether it can be changed after approval. |
| Environmental Health and Safety Teams and Site Data Contacts | Asked to complete more than a dozen differently formatted Excel files each year, and interested in seeing how standardised templates and online reporting work in practice. |
| IT and Digital Transformation Teams | Evaluating sustainability data systems' permission design, implementation timelines and internal adoption costs. |

About Sustaihub and the Syber Sustainability Management System
Companies that have implemented the system span finance, technology, food, textiles, chemicals, information technology, semiconductors, biotechnology, healthcare and trading. No software installation is required; all functions are available through a browser. Implementation—from account creation, data imports and indicator confirmation to training—is expected to be completed within 1 month.
The system runs on AWS cloud infrastructure. Each organisation's data is stored in a separate document space, supported by a web application firewall, network access controls and regular vulnerability scans. Ask about the full information security architecture during the Q&A.
